The logo of The Underground Tavern honors the courageous female resistance fighters of the OSS during WWII, including Virginia Hall and Nancy Wake, celebrating their pivotal roles in covert operations. It also incorporates the iconic minarets of the University of Tampa, symbolizing both local pride and the resilient spirit of Tampa’s community.

The Underground Tavern is a private lounge open to members and those who rent our venue for private events.

Membership will be open to all active duty or retired military and all honorably discharged veterans.

​Initial hours will be Thursday-Sunday, 1100-2100.
